In the woods surrounding Bomarzo are hidden artefacts of ancient origin: Etruscan altars, Roman hollow ways… There are many places to stop and meditate, from the Etruscan pyramid to the ruins of the ancient Byzantine church of Santa Cecilia, to the river bottom, lulled by the sound of the waterfalls immortalised by Pasolini.
The route can take you to just one of these three places (about 1 hr return) or combine them into a longer or shorter itinerary depending on the needs of the group.
The proposed routes are easy, but include dirt roads and paths, so we ask you to wear well-soled trainers or hiking shoes, closed at the back. Flip-flops, shoes with heels, ballerinas, ankle boots or any other shoes with smooth soles are not allowed.
It is recommended to bring a backpack and not a shoulder bag and a sun hat.
Participants should have at least one litre of water per person.
Accommodation in the agriturismo, dinner, breakfast, excursion with an environmental guide (from the Associazione Percorsi Etruschi – Aigae environmental excursion guides)
People of any age (minors accompanied).
The price does not include entrance fees to parks or archaeological areas and museums. Cancellation terms: 10 days in advance.
